Music

After a bit of the blues, I began a Buffy the Vampire series binge, I sort of got obsessed a little. At some point after, I realized I wanted to start a band that spent most of the energy sharing personal stories about mental illness, addiction and perseverance.

As a writing challenge, I wrote lyrics referencing themes of the TV show while being autobiographical at the same time. I convinced some people to help me along this journey. During our time, we played Mishawaka, Denver ComicCon and the Warped Tour.

It was a great time. You may still catch me playing a few songs from these days every once in a while.

Check out the video I made with an old iPhone below for our song Slay Sorrow staring my cute kitty cat, Khajiit.

Angelus Errare spawned during the late COVID era. I was dealign with some very traumatizing health issues that all compounded at once– COVID, Aphantasia, an auto-immune disorder.

I decided I needed to take less of an active role in music and focus on my recovery. So our bass player took up the larger role of writing more and lead vocals.

With that, we are Angelus Errare. Will wanted to focus on his own challenges balancing mental health and life in post-COVID and escalated political world.

Lyrically, he sings about about feeling out of step with the rest of the world, and trying to heal in the modern era.

I play guitar and sing some back up vocals.

Check out a mini movie I made about the band below.
